Review Board releases External Environmental Assessment Review Report

The Review Board is pleased to announce the release of an external report it commissioned into the environmental assessment process in the Mackenzie Valley. The report was prepared by Stantec Consulting Limited and focuses on opportunities to improve the timeliness of the Review Board’s environmental assessment process.

Prairie Creek Mine public hearings

The Mackenzie Valley Environmental Impact Review Board held community and public hearings for Canadian Zinc’s proposed Prairie Creek Mine in Nahanni Butte and Fort Simpson June 22, 23 and 24. These hearings were well attended by all parties and members of the public.
