Access to Information Requests

The Mackenzie Valley Environmental Impact Review Board is an independent, public board funded by the federal government. Its governing legislation is the Mackenzie Valley Resource Management Act and the Review Board is subject to the federal Access to Information and Privacy Acts.

If you are not satisfied with our response to your access to information request, you may wish to contact the Office of the Information Commissioner of Canada.

The Mackenzie Valley Environmental Impact Review Board posts summaries of completed Access to Information Requests. MVEIRB began posting summaries of completed Access to information requests in December, 2014.

Introduction to Info Source Chapter:

The Info Source Chapter is a requirement of all public institutions to communicate their purpose and function to the general public. An info source chapter has information on what an organization does and how it is set-up structurally to carry out its function and follow protocol of a public institution.
