On Feb 13, 2015 the Wekeezhii Land and Water Board referred Husky Oil Operations Limited Chedabucto Mineral Exploration Project to environmental assessment, pursuant to paragraph 125(1)(b) of the Mackenzie Valley Resource Management Act (MVRMA). The WLWB has determined that the proposed development is a cause of public concern.
