Registration now open for MVRMA Climate Change workshop

The MVRMA Workshop Planning Committee has been hosting a series of virtual workshops in 2022 (please see link here for more information). The first three workshops discussed the co-management system and ongoing initiatives, closure and reclamation, and engagement and consultation.  The fourth and final workshop of the year will be held virtually on December 15th and 16th, 2022 and will focus on climate change considerations within the context of MVRMA decision making. Registration for this final workshop is now open and can be accessed here.

National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

The Review Board office will be closed Friday September 30, 2022, to allow our staff to reflect on the tragic realities faced by the thousands of Indigenous children forced to attend residential schools and the resulting historic and ongoing legacy on the survivors, their families and their communities. We particularly will be reflecting on the personal experiences of our own Board and Staff members impacted by the residential school system.

The Review Board today and everyday will work towards a path of reconciliation through our own actions and guided by the communities we work in.

Here is a link to the Truth and Reconciliation's Commission's calls for action and reports that are useful starting points to help you on your own path towards reconciliation:
